Who we are
The Soprintendenza's functions are separated into general services which are divided into further organic units.
Its services, both technical and administrative, correspond to various principal functions: oversight and conservation, acquisitions, management, documentation of the museum's patrimony, study and research, general administrative and personnel management. The office for exhibitions and cultural communication, including digital information, teaching and museum communication is included among these general services.
The National Gallery of Modern Art is subdivided into two sections, the Nineteenth and the Twentieth Centuries, each section managed by their respective art historians.
